Why do students from around North America, as well as other parts of the world, travel to New York to study the Chinese science and art of traditional Feng Shui?  This is because The American School of Classical Feng Shui, the educational division of AmeriChi Feng Shui, offers a unique curriculum that makes us the FAST TRACK to SUCCESS!

The American School of Classical Feng Shui was established because of two unanswered needs.  There is a shortage of properly educated practitioners of authentic Chinese compass based classical, or traditional, Feng Shui, known in some places as geomancy.  There are also many creative and spiritual individuals who have never been shown how to parlay their talents into an excellent career as a practitioner or consultant.     

Feng Shui, or geomancy, is gaining popularity across America – everyday, articles and TV shows talk about how this ancient Chinese science and art can bring about improvements in all areas of life – health, finances, relationships, and more.  Each day, more people seek the help of a Feng Shui practitioner or consultant to modify their homes and workplaces so that their lives may experience positive change.  Today, most often, an American practitioner or consultant has gone through training in non-traditional forms of Feng Shui.  Our focus on traditional, or classical, compass based Feng Shui education gives our graduates an important edge in the marketplace - our students are sometimes surprised to find that they have a “waiting list” of clients before they even graduate!  Interior design or interior decoration professionals, and others, will find that many of their existing clients are ideal clients for their Feng Shui practice as well.

There are few schools of authentic classical Feng Shui or geomancy anywhere in the world.  Those that exist are mostly far away, very expensive, or require a lengthy course of study.  The training offered by the American School of Classical Feng Shui was created as a way to learn this complex science and art in a fraction of the time that it takes elsewhere, and at a fraction of the cost.  Our New York State location is easily accessible from the entire northeast.       

Most of our students come to us intending to practice Feng Shui professionally as a practitioner or consultant.  Others just want to master the skills needed to correctly apply Feng Shui to their own homes and businesses.  Still others practice interior design or interior decorating, or are architects or real estate professionals, who know that certification in authentic Feng Shui is an excellent adjunct to their existing careers.  Our students realize that it is not possible to master authentic Feng Shui from books alone.  Much of the popular literature is contradictory, confusing, and even erroneous.  Most books do not go into the intricate formulas of authentic Feng Shui and, if they do, present the material such that the lay person finds it very difficult to master and apply.  The education offered by The American School of Classical Feng Shui, brings clarity to a complex field of study. 

Our curriculum is intensive and highly effective.  We cover a great deal of material in each class, yet our classwork is always interesting and enjoyable.  We offer a high level of individual attention, and each student’s individual needs and learning style is respected.  Our commitment is to each student’s success!   

The educational program of The American School of Classical Feng Shui consists of ten courses given on five weekends, one weekend a month.
